(Authored by Kevin M. Turner) Three becomes four. Cory Brozik has joined the Logic Films Executive team. Cory will be leading our IT department and media branch of LFC. Already, we are talking through that are very exciting on the business side of things, so that our journal can actually be launched on a website or social media. During film, Cory will be working on script supervising and editing. Welcome Cory Brozik!

(Authored by Kevin M. Turner) If you read our last post, you’ll notice that Conversation has gotten a new name, changed to Get to the Point, which also has a new platform: web series. This summer, when talking with Kyle and Orion, we liked the idea of having our short turn into a little bit of a series. Ron and Jill Stevenson seemed to kind of represent the everyman character in many relationships. As we showed the script to others, we began to hear a lot of the same lines such as, “Oh my gosh, this is so us when we fight.”
We decided to explore the possibility of making our short into a series, and we came up with some interesting content that is still expanding, even as I type. We have decided to make a 5-6 episode web series about Ron and Jill, highlighting elements of their relationship. Our goal was to shed light on the honest aspects of marriage, where things aren’t filtered like the Hollywood marriage. The title of the series, Honestly Ever After, is obviously a play on Happily Ever After, with a candid look at a new marriage, just past the honeymoon phase. We think this will be a lot of fun and look forward to sharing more with you. (Authored by Kevin M. Turner) We are excited to introduce to you our cast for Stuck and Get to the Point (now a Pilot for a series called Honestly Ever After - to be discussed soon)
(Authored by Kevin M. Turner) Logic Films will be on a small hiatus while we spend some time with our families. Summertime means vacation to escape the triple digit heat. Hopefully it will only last until we get back and then go on an unexpected cool streak. Until we return…
(Authored by Kevin M. Turner) Logic Films is no longer just a name. We are officially a general partnership as of June 1st. I guess we need business cards now. But first we’d need to fundraise for those business cards. And then be taxed on the fundraising. Exciting times!
(Authored by Kevin M. Turner) Thank you all who were apart of casting, whether it was auditioning, contacting actors, or putting out the word. We had a very fun time. We will release our actor bios soon.
A HUGE thanks to Jeran McConnell (http://oleanderandpalm.com) for letting us use her office space for casting. |
